Over the years, my paintings have been featured in Southern Bride Magazine, Buffalo Wedding Magazine, CanvasRebel Magazine, Buffalo Spree, Focus on the Coast Weddings, Magnolia Rouge, Whimsically Wed, and Adorn Collective Workshops.
I grew up on the beautiful Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina, never more than a couple of miles from the salt air and shell-covered sand. The ocean breeze was a constant companion, just like the paintbrush in my hand.
Whether on canvas, at live events, or in private collections, my work is rooted in bold lines, vibrant color, and expressive motion, brush strokes that shoot out of my hands like little rockets (or at least, that’s how it feels).
After earning a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of Art and Design at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), I spent a few more years by the coast before moving to Buffalo, NY with my husband.
For more than a decade, my heart has been devoted to raising three boys, guiding them into becoming strong, kind men. No matter where life takes me, they will always be my greatest accomplishment. Motherhood didn’t pull me away from painting, it reinforced my need for it and deepened its meaning in my life.
For the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of Live Painting, capturing the energy and emotion of once-in-a-lifetime moments. Few things bring me more joy than preserving these memories on canvas. I’d love the opportunity to talk with you about how I can bring your wedding day to life through paint.
