Live Wedding Painting is exactly what it sounds like, but better!

It is a form of en plein air painting and is a beautiful way to remember promising your forever to your favorite person in the world.

On wedding days I arrive early, begin painting during your event and continue working as the day unfolds. Guests get to watch the piece come to life and by the end of the night your painting is well underway. I paint in oil, so after the wedding I bring it back to the studio for any final refinements. What you receive is both authentic to the moment and finished with intention.

My approach to live wedding painting

My work leans expressive and painterly with a fine art foundation. I focus on light and atmosphere, movement and gesture and the energy in the room. You won’t get something stiff or entirely literal, you’ll get something layered, alive and deeply personal.

How it works

Before the wedding we will connect on your vision, composition and any other details you want included.

The day of I will arrive early, set up, and begin painting as your day unfolds.

I will complete any final details in studio, varnish your painting and deliver your finished piece in person or in the mail.
